U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephanie A. Hambrick imposed the sentence on March 14, in Mammoth, Wyoming. Mr. Brosnan pleaded guilty to foot travel in a thermal area. The hotel closed immediately after the  historic 2022 flood  because of damage to the area’s wastewater system. The hotel gift shop with sandwiches, snacks and beverages, and lobby are currently open. The Terrace Grill with sandwiches, salads, ice cream and beverages, is currently open for lunch and dinner and will add breakfast hours beginning July 2.
